ECAD Engineer/Electrical Designer with a focus on layout

As an electronics designer focusing on layout at Westermo, you will be part of a small, knowledgeable team within electronics and mechanics that works closely with the company's larger software team. You will be involved in the entire development chain – from early concepts and design to layout, simulations, prototypes, and testing in the company's own factory.

You will work on exciting projects where the focus is on new technology, high-speed signals, and modern components. The environment is technology-driven and innovative, with great freedom to influence both technical solutions and working methods. The internal production provides unique opportunities to quickly go from idea to finished product.

Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in electronics
1–2 years of practical experience in electronics design, preferably with a focus on layout
Understanding of industry standards
English proficiency in speaking and writing
Experience with ECAD tools

Desirable:

Previous experience in the rail or energy sector
Swedish proficiency in speaking and writing
Previous work with Mentor Graphics
